Meet our product developer, Rebekah Ball.
Rebekah Ball has dedicated over 30 years to developing innovative health products that promote healing and longevity. With a background in holistic nutrition and herbalism from Clayton College of Natural Health and Dr. Christopher’s School of Herbs, she became an early pioneer in medicinal mushrooms and matcha—long before they gained mainstream recognition. Since 1999, she has been directly sourcing matcha from Japan, establishing herself as a leading expert in the field. She also founded a gluten-free café and matcha cleanse program in Santa Barbara, creating a hub for community education, cooking classes, and product development. Her expertise spans women’s and family health, fitness, trauma recovery, and wellness education, making her a trusted voice in holistic health.
As co-owner of Got Matcha Premium Tea Co. and head of R&D, Rebekah has formulated over 18 cutting-edge wellness products, including a matcha superfood protein meal and a Chaga/Matcha energy bar. She has also authored multiple books and developed more than 300 health-focused recipes. Her role with Chagit Products since 2019 has further expanded her influence, helping to create innovative elixirs, concentrates, and energy solutions that position Chagit as a lifestyle brand. Committed to pushing the boundaries of wellness, Rebekah continues to lead the way in formulating next-generation products that harness the power of matcha, superfoods, and medicinal mushrooms.
